He did get into a newspaper sidebar: A Tigers beat writer mentioned that Drew Smyly, the fifth starter who won't be needed for a couple weeks, watched the game "from Brandon Inge's suite" at Comerica.
Inge's suite at Comerica, I thought, was the bench.
